The STARTUP Gallery and the rest of the Museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day with these important exceptions:
The Museum is CLOSED on Thanksgiving and Christmas and non-holiday Mondays in January and September**.

Please purchase tickets at least 10 minutes before show time for the DynaTheater and 5 minutes for the Planetarium.

Naturalist Center, STARTUP Gallery and Lodestar Astronomy Exhibits are available with any paid admission.
Foundation members that show proper identification are allowed free admission to the Museum.
Gift certificates are available through the membership Desk for Museum and/or DynaTheater admissions.
Free County Months
Residents of specific counties in New Mexico receive free admission to the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science in Albuquerque during specific months.
This free admission policy is part of the Museum's County Recognition Month to welcome and honor New Mexico residents from around the state for supporting the Museum and its numerous statewide educational programs.
Admission to the Extreme Screen DynaTheater and/or LodeStar Astronomy Center venues is by the regular charge.
